We’re enjoying our time in Lviv, a beautiful historical city in the west of Ukraine. The influence of 13th century Austria, and Polish-Lithuania in later years is still well preserved in ancient architecture, cobblestone roads, magnificent cathedrals and castles.
The spirit of the city is very different from other Ukrainian places, being close to the one in Western Europe. Summer time is rich in music and cultural festivals in the area. If we add numerous cultural tours, street music, art galleries, great food, and extremely cheap prices (due to the political and economical situation in Ukraine) it is understandable why Lviv attracts so many tourists both from Eastern parts of Ukraine, and other countries.
This is the first general set of photos from our stay in Lviv.
