I’m sad about all the fire happening in Northern California. It brought a disaster to many families. It came really close to San Francisco, but, being separated by the water, had no other affect rather than the smoky air in the city. The smoke naturally brought some crazy sunsets.

Being a temporary resident of the Alameda island I benefit from panoramic views of the city. Adding a few military ships at the local port into the frame, plus the sunset, it is easy to get some catchy images.

The only element I’m sadly missing here is my tripod. Nevertheless, here is my recent photo-walk to the Alameda Point pier.
